What is traditional hypnosis?
Hypnosis involves a trained practitioner verbally guiding you through a form of deep relaxation. Kimberly is certified through the National Guild of Hypnotists.
Some experts look at hypnotic relaxation as the artificial activation of the rapid eye movement (REM) stage of sleep, characterized by eye movements, increased brain activity and rate of respiration. It is also known as paradoxical sleep, where brain the becomes activated but the musculoskeletal system remains inactive. Hypnotic rest is therefore a form of direct communication with the activated subconscious mind, helping to reprogram it with subtle repetitive suggestions using soothing voice and tone.

Kimberly Morris is a certified hypnotist and instructor with the National Guild of Hypnotists. In addition to belonging to the largest guild in the world, she is a level II practitioner of the Dolores Cannon Regression method.
Kimberly's journey began in Physical Therapy. She is skilled at working with Spinal Cord injuries, Burns, Orthopedic surgeries, and much more. One prevailing theme stood out. If a person believed that they would do well, they performed better than the person who had doubts.
I know that when tensions are high, the tendency is to smoke more. This puts you in a higher risk category for negative effects in your life.
I offer the following suggestions:
- Delay your first cigarette every day, even if just a few minutes. If you smoke as soon as you wake up, take a moment to stretch and breathe deeply.
